TEAM BENEFITS: Olympic Style Weightlifting Coaching; Tournaments Coaching; Structured Training Programs Creation from Beginning Stages (first 2 to 3 years of preparatory), to Mastery Formation Stages, to International and/or Elite Stages. Coaching in Back Squats, Front Squats, Power Cleans, Power Snatches, Clean & Jerk, Split Jerks including Blocks & Rack Work, Squat Jerks, Push Presses, Power Jerks, Squat Snatches, and Pulls through all phases. Technique and Speed Strength Development Coaching.

 

TEAM MEMBERSHIP TERMS:  MUST be a registered athlete in good standing with USAW, or join USAW, and MUST also register with the USAW HoundWood  Weightlifting Club Number 7023 with Gaspar Hernandez III as your first and only coach.

 

 

 

Youth, Junior & Senior Team

 

Monthly Membership Plans:

 

Plan A - $75 per month for 2 days or less per week training at HoundWood Gym, including a 2-3 days per week training program.

 

Plan B - $100 per month for 3 days or less per week training at HoundWood Gym, including a 2-5 days per week training program.

 

Plan C - $125 per month for 3 days or more per week training at HoundWood Gym, including a 2-5 days per week training program.

 

Additional HoundWood Gym Training Sessions:

$5 per additional training session, after 2 days of training has been completed on any week (Only applies to Plan A and Plan B memberships).

 

Note: There are no drop-ins allowed. You MUST be on a membership plan to train at Houndwood Gym. For registered USAW lifters visiting the area and looking for a place to train, a one day training session is $10 (Please contact HoundWood Gym first)

 

Team Age Ranges:

 

Youth - Age range is from 10 through 17. Youth athletes MUST have a legal guardian approve his/her membership.

 

Junior - Age range is from 18 through 20

 

Senior - Age range is from 21 through 30

 

 

Masters Team (Starting Oct 2015)

 

Ages 30+:

Masters competition age groups start at 35. Members in the 30-35 age range can train to prepare prior to competing as a qualified Master.

 

Plan MA - $100 per month for 2 days or less per week training at HoundWood Gym, including a 2-3 days per week training program.

 

Plan MB - $125 per month for 3 days or more per week training at HoundWood Gym, including a 3-5 days per week training program.

 

Additional HoundWood Gym Training Sessions:

$5 per additional training session, after 2 days of training has been completed on any week (Only applies to Plan MA memberships).
